Feeding the homeless

Monday 11:00am – 2:00pm at the Walking Free Centre

Every week we reach out to the homeless and hurting in the city of Bradford. We create a homely, caring and safe environment where every person is treated with respect, dignity and love. A two course meal, fresh fruit, fresh juice and hot drinks are all served free. A group of experienced volunteers give support, advice and a extend a hand of kindness to every person that comes along. We currently feed approximately 100 people each week.

Meeting

Monday 7pm – 9pm

Several of the volunteers have come through the doors of the Walking Free Centre looking for nourishment for their bodies and souls and have found these things and even more – a new life with Jesus Christ.

In their freedom they are now reaching out to others and each week the team has the joy of seeing people wanting to know more about the God we serve. People are invited to our Monday night meeting to learn more about finding a new life of freedom in Christ.

Walking Free Recovery

Wednesday 7:30pm at the Walking Free Centre

The recovery group is for people with hurts, habits and hang-ups who want to Walk Free through our 12 step program. The group provides a safe environment for hurts to be shared in a confidential environment and the group encourages self-help and seeks to empower individuals to take responsibility for making different and wise informed choices for their future.

Designed to bridge a gap from life on the streets or in a life controlling addiction to a life of freedom the group is based on 12 steps to recovery. The course is Christ-centred, purpose driven and people empowering.

Our recovery programme supports those in emotional, physical and spiritual need and seeks to help them reach their full potential in life so that they can walk free and in time reach out to others to bring them along the path to freedom too.
